New Beginnings

Welcome to my page! I've never made a website before so this was a very exciting and brand new experience for me. I've made this website in preparation for the upcoming release of my debut single Hourglass Café in collaboration with renowned film composer and expert pianist Pierre Catherine-Buffet which comprises of a prog-soul ballad Hourglass Café (it would be a bit strange otherwise wouldn't it?) and an upbeat angsty ditty with elements of punk, classical, and pop all rolled into one called In The Shed but I have no doubt that more will be coming as we've already begun the writing and recording process on a whole bunch of other songs you'll hear about soon! The release will be on the 19th of April but feel free to pre-save the song using the button at the top of the page which says: "STREAM HOURGLASS CAFE NOW".

I thought I would also provide a little look inside what it takes to prepare for a music release like this so over the next few weeks I'll be documenting the many steps it has taken - and indeed will soon take - to release music and have a slight chance of success in the modern day.

For now enjoy some photographs from the recording session that we recorded Hourglass Café - it was such a fun and emotional experience for me to sit in the recording booth and watch Pierre conduct a 12 piece orchestra masterfully play a riff that I had written alongside him so many weeks before.

It made it clear that everything would be worth it. Reader - I hope you'll see that soon...
