Fox Crossing The Road releases 23rd of August

Hey - sorry for not getting back to you but my laptop broke and as such I had no way of continuing to promote Hourglass Café which wasn't pleasant for me either as you can imagine but anyhow...

I'm here now!

And even more importantly I'm here to announce that Pierre and I have collaborated again on a two song EP called Fox Crossing The Road with the second track being All Hail The King.

Fox Crossing The Road is a bluesy ditty supported by a huge booming brass section recorded at the Royal College of Music inspired by my own experiences of seeing foxes skulking around in the streets after a long night out. I actually wrote it on the way home from a Mud Morgenthau concert so I would like to imagine that the energy of his father Muddy Waters was flowing through my veins as I wrote this song!

All Hail The King is secretly just a hype track for Pierre who is the most wonderful musician and orchetsrator and I cannot say it enough that these releases would not be possible without him. Again a humongous brassy crescendo will smash you in the face like the sound of Christopher Lee calling his Uruk Hai to war in a certain Peter Jackson movie.

In the meantime why not check out the Hourglass Café EP again - we are so close to 1000 listens on Spotify at the moment and have reached more than 800 views on YouTube for the two (very crude) lyric videos I created and for that I am forever grateful and indebted to you.

See you on the 23rd of August - rumour says it's my favourite release yet (and just you wait till the next release after that!).
